I just spent the last 3 months looking for my next tire after OEM stones. I found these Cooper Zeon LT tires that alot of the Titans, F150 people have been running. So far I love them.

I'm still looking and about to pull my damn hair out! This is tougher than deciding on the jeep itself!

Narrowed down to 295/70/17 trail grapplers just waiting on price quotes now. Have my heart on the fierce attitudes but they are not making the in the size I need.

My vote is for the falken wild peaks! Put some on yesterday and let me just say DAMN that is one tough tire! The Internet pictures just don't do it justice. I was debating on these or the trail grapplers after my durratracs tore the sidewall 2 times. I have to say impressed!

The Fierce Attitude mts are made by Dunlop which is the same as the other two.. I have had all the trail grapplers, mud grapplers, and am now running the fierce tires on 2 of my vehicles (2004 Chevy 2500HD and 2012 jk) both are the same size and are great tires. I run 33/12.5r16s. As far as performance the fierce and mud grapplers are about equal but the fierce are not near as loud. I love the fierce tires I have about 50k plus miles on my Chevy and a brand new set on the jeep. For price and performance there is no doubt that the fierce are the way to go!

That's what I really want but the don't make any size in 17 accept 35's now. I talked to Goodyear who said they didn't know when they would start producing other sizes again.

I think it's safe to say the only downfall for fierce tires is the limited size options.

The falkens (wildpeak at) are good tires but will not cut it in Alabama sticky mud. I was running them but after the skyline ride I decided to upgrade to a more mud focused tire. Falkens rode well and were smooth at interstate speeds. They just don't clear the sticky AL mud well and do not have enough lug bite for traction. Good tire, poor choice for mud IMHO.

I was torn between the Nitto trail grapplers, mud grapplers, and pit bull rockers. I ended up going with the pit bull rockers. On the trail this weekend they performed great in the nasty stick AL mud, wet rock, and rock climbing. I did have to air them down from their street pressure (still have work to do to find a happy street pressure). At 24 psi the side wall had enough give to proceed. We did the "crusher" and the tires had no issues up it (post air down). They never caked up in the wet muddy conditions. Traction was never an issue on rock or in mud. The only time I had an issue I mark it down to the tires just having too much air pressure. Mine are 37s that measure out to 36.25. They drive good on the street but at interstate speeds (70ish) they are pretty loud and don't track quite as well as the Falkens did. I found this on the drive home today. At 65-68 I had no issues (it was a bit windy too). They are also very beefy tires (thick sidewalls, thick lugs, etc).

Both nitto choices and the pit bulls would be fine. You really should consider a mud purposed tire (the trail grappler would fit into this category from what I have seen).
