Default Tire question

I have a 2009 Sahara which has P255/70R18 and was curious if I will have any issues running P265/70R18.

I think that they would be fine since they are just a hair bigger but want to make sure. Also I would really love to have a little taller tire that stock if any one has any ideas what would be a good size.

That's only a half to 3/4" difference in height and a half inch difference in width on the same size wheels. That shouldn't pose any problems and front leveling spacers will insure that you don't even get a very minor rub.

Tire sizes that will fit safely, (tire is not too wide), on the stock Sahara Rim:

265/70/18

275/65/18 (same overall diameter)

275/70/18 (33" tire that will work w/o spacers)

I've been playing around w/ options for all 3 sizes trying to decide what I'll do
when the Bridgestones wear out.

Since I installed a lift I think I'm going to opt for the 33" tires.

That's only a half to 3/4" difference in height and a half inch difference in width
So they will be 3/4 taller and 1/2 wider right?

If so thats awsome news because this is the size for Toyo Open Country A/T's which i ran on my last truck and loved them. Now i just have to wait to the stock bridgestones wear a little . And I hope that them being a little taller wont cause in poblems with the back tire on the carrier rubbing the bumper.
