Tire question
I am going to get the Cooper Discoverer STT's in a 33 x 12.50 R16. Is a 285/75/R16 going to give me that or not? I know stupid question but it's alot of money if I get it wrong.

I know how to convert metric to standard for tire height but how do you do it for width.
For height I use ((285*.75)/12.7)+Rimsize = 16.8+16=32.8
How do you get the 11.2?? I realize that there are a bunch of calculators online but I like to know how to do it so when I am out shopping tires I figure it out.
Thanks.
