Default Tire Question

I am looking at 33x12.5R15 tires and Crager 8s. I cant find a 15inch crager with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern. Can I use 5 on 4.5 ??

LOL

NO!

And, Crager's Soft 8 comes in a 5 on 5 pattern anyway.

The 5 on 5 thing...its how you match the holes to the studs...if you used anyother patterm...the rim could not mount to the hub.

IF (IF) Crager did not make the Soft 8 wheel (But, they do....) THEN, for example, you COULD get an adapter that converts a 4.5 to a 5 on 5 pattern or visa versa, etc.

Quadratc and Northridge have critters like that, typically in the same section where they keep the wheel spacers.

Good luck!

And to add...

Make sure you do your research on exactly which model wheel will fit your JK if you are going to go with 15" wheels. There are quite a few wheels out there that don't clear the brake calipers. Since most places won't return the wheels for you after they've been mounted with tires, check the wheels BEFORE you have them mounted.
If you're going to have clearance problems with a 15" wheel, it will likely be on the front.

You may want to have at look at this thread as I had the same questions.
