Default Tire Ordering/Selling

I'm coming down to the point where I have a good idea of what lift/tires I want for my Jeep. I'm now looking at the places to buy them. My main question is, I'm wanting to order new tires, and sell my brand new stock tires with as minimal wear as possible. Where is a good place/website to try to sell my extremely minimal wear tires? I'll be getting a 2016 JKU Sport with the stock 255/75R17 tires/wheel. <br/> If it helps, looking mainly into 35" R17 Goodyear Duratracs, my impulse desire is the ATZ P3's still though, but still confident I'm sticking with the Duratracs.

Craigslist. I've had two JKs; both sets of my stocks were quickly and easily sold through Craigslist. Your asking price has to be reasonable, though. For example, I've yet to see an excellent condition set of five JK 255s/17s take offs successfully sell for more than $600 in my area.

Craigslist. I wouldn't expect to get more than $300-400 for them, if your selling the rims with them. Rubi wheels and tires usually fetch about $600 out here.

As far as buying goes, I highly recommend Discount Tire. I've been thoroughly impressed with their service, selection and prices.

You cannot go wrong with Goodyear Duratrac Tires. I purchased the Duratrac 315/70/R17 Tires and glad I did they are great DD and great off-road in Mud and Sand. Also quite compared to the stock BFG Tires. I have a friend that purchased the MT ATZ P3 Tires and is very happy with them but he did say they are noisy compared to the stock BFG Tires he had on his Rubicon. Hard to beat Discount Tires because I purchased my Goodyear Duratrac Tires during the July 4 Sale this year and got them for $250.00 each plus mounting and etc.

If you were selling the stock 16's I'd be on it. Craigslist is good for this area, just price then competitively.

I use to run the duratrac. I have switched to BFG KO2. They are a great tire and there is no hum going down the road. I was a duratrac only guy until Discount Tire suggested the KO2. Discount tire also price matched. Paid $206 each for 285/70/17. Click image for larger version

Marcus at RiverCityOffroad (his ID on JK-Forum). He's got very competitive prices on tires (cheapest I found for BFG KM2s in 35s).

Really, competitive prices on all kinds of stuff.

We buy all our tires from Marcus and have them shipped up North. Great service.
