Default Tire/Lift Question

I have a 2011 Unlimited Sport that I use as my daily driver. I don't have real intention of doing serious rock crawling or off-roading. I'm looking for a slightly beefier tire than what comes stock (I think mine are 32"). Is there a general recommendation for 33" tires? Is a lift kit required? What is the minimum lift kit needed? Any feedback on the AEV 2" lift kit? I work/live in the VA/DC/MD area and I park in a parking garage. It looks like the most I could get away with is about 2". Any feedback would be appreciated!

You can get a bb or a leveling kit. You can fit 33s stock with little rubbing if any.

I'm new to all this, but what is a "bb" and how is it different from a leveling kit? What is the difference between a leveling kit and a lift kit? Forgive my ignorance and thanks for the patience!

What are some brand recommendations for a budget boost setup? Anyone have any experience with the AEV 2" spacer setup (http://www.quadratec.com/products/16502_4400_07.htm)?

I saw some BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM tires on a 2012 Arctic Edition. They have the look I'm interested in.

The stock tire on my Jeep is 255/75/17, which is about 32". The 255/80/17 is shown as 33.3" and the 285/70/17 is shown as 33". Neither of these sizes are listed as "compatible" and I'm assuming it is because of possible rubbing. If I had to take a guess, I'd say the 255/80/17 is the better match.

What size tire should I be looking at? Thanks!
