Default Tire fitment

Hi there so I'm the new owner of a 2015 unlimited sport and I'm looking at tire upgrade.
My state will not pass my jeeps inspection if the tires come past the fender flares so I'm looking for a flush fit. Dose anyone know the perfect size fit?

Are you looking to go bigger or just a new oem-sized tire?

depends on what rims you use as backspacing is what pushes the wheels out. if stock rims you can easily run something like a265/70-17 or a bfg KO2 34x10.5-17, 275/70-17 etc lots of choices.

Just out of curiosity, what state are you in?

I went from stock 32's to 285/70/17 BFG KM2's (33's) on my Sport and they're much bigger/wider and have about 1/2" till they're flush with the fenders. Barely rub if full lock turn and plenty of space left for more. No lift or spacers and really didn't notice any loss of power with em. I'd recommend trying 295/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers, should still be do-able. Though I dumped my 3.21's and regeared to 4.56 and WOW what an improvement in power! Totally worth it

Find a real cheap set of stock take offs and switch me out once a year. That's what I've always done. What part of WV are you from?
