Adian,
Ten to one on here and you being in TX there is more than likely about 10 -100 folks kinda near you and could probably recommend a good shop for you to NOT get over priced and run through the ringer..... I would say get the 35's see how you like it for a while and if it seems to drag to much for your taste then go to the 5.13's.
From what I understand 4.10 with 35's should be OK for what you are wanting to do.
I have a chart showing tire size to gears somewhere, once I find it I will post it up. Hopefully that will help, I know it did for me.

Thanks for all the replies. I just don't want to go with one and then be pissed that I didn't go for the other then shell out all that cash again.

I personally agree with everyone else that has ever said, "Go with 35's because after a while the 33's will be to small and your gonna end up with 35's anyway."
You have 4.10 in your Jeep now right?
I can't find the chart I was talking about, let me see if someone else can dig it up for me.

Make a trip up to the dallas area, Screamin Lizard does complete gear changes for 999.95, the only added cost is if you have 3.21 gears and need a new carrier

I would suggest a winch first if most of your wheeling is alone. A lift will give you confidence that will eventually get you stuck. The winch will get you further than the lift can.
My 4dr has a 4.10 gear manual trans 4 inch lift with 34 inch tires and has plenty of pick up considering its a 3.8 ltr. I do have a Max Energy, K&N cold air kit,MBRP exhaust .

I have 35s and 3.73 gears and the hills around here require 4th gear to keep it at 65 mph. That is a good tire size and with the gear change you will like it a lot.
