Default tire carrier for 2014 jk

Installing 35 inch spare. What's the cheapest and easiest route to mounting it?

Cheapest and easiest is gonna cost you in the long term. Extension bracket is cheapest and easiest. A buddy did this two weeks ago with a 35" tire, last week he started to hear the rattle from the broken spot welds in the door, ignored it and went off roading last weekend and had his spare torn off. Now his tailgate is warped, rattles and he can't carry a spare. Just ordered a new bumper with carrier.

Good thing is, if you keep going cheap you break parts and have a good excuse to upgrade

Only annoying thing is now he can't turn up the tunes without hearing the rattle.

Just spent $3000 on lift and tires. Any of them at a reasonable price? Haven't really researched.

You could always just strap the spare down where the back seat goes while saving for new carrier. That's my solution, lol. Sure beats having it sounding like it was about to break off every time I hit a bump. I can't say I've ever known anyone who's had one fall off, but I'll tell you my Jeep sure seems a lot happier not to have that heavy ass tire on stock carrier.

Big Truck: No Little Truck, we can't go there!
Jeep: Silly truck! I am a Jeep!

I have a pretty nice Rancho bumper and carrier and I believe the price is pretty reasonable compared to other big name carriers

I know you just dropped some coin, but you get what you pay for with tire carriers and bumper/carriers. I'd save up and get a quality product.
