Default Tire brand opinions for my new 37's...

Hey guys, so I got these Nitto Trails in 35 2,000 miles ago and decided now I want to go 37. My question is should I stick with Nitto Trail or Go Toyo OC for the 37s? What are pro's and cons to each brand? Here is a photo of my rig from last weekend.

They are Basicly the same tire. Very similar, toyo slightly stiffer sidewalk and slightly heavier. Same parent company.

I noticed the Toyo is a 13.5 width and the Nitto is a 12.5. I like the added width especially on a taller tire. Any info on road noise differences as well as tread effectiveness in wet surfaces?

I've never had the Nitto's, but have had several sets of Toyo Open Country MT's. I also just switched from 35s to 37s. The Toyo's are reasonable on road, and work great off road. For typical Rocky Mountains conditions they are the best all around tire I've used. They are heavy (93 lbs), but they are bullet proof for all intents and purposes. I've been running Toyo MT's for ten years now, and have not had a flat yet.

The Nittos use a slightly softer compound, so they hook up on the rocks a little better, but also wear a little faster. They are both quiet when new, but will become louder when they wear a little. There is a little sound difference between them. I would definitely go with a load range D and not an E, as they are too stiff for the JK.

I run the TOYOs (35's) on my diesel truck because they have a heavy load rating and have great longevity.
Over several trucks, sets and miles, I really like this tire.

I run KM'2s (37's) on the JEEP cause they are really light and flex very well due to the softer sidewall.
Less power in the JEEP so I like to keep the unsprung rotating mass down as much as possible
The KM2 is not as durable and certainly not as good for heavy loads and towing.

ON an unrelated note I like the look of the TOYO tread better.

Hey, looks are a factor as well. I'm running 400HP and 330 to the wheels so there's power to spin them. Also regeared to 4.56 and may eventually build axles and go 40's.

The 12.5" wide nittos are speced at 13.2 so the widths are closer than they appear.

Any issues btw running 37's with a D30 front or would I need to truss them?
