Tint

The tint is tricky to match, (I see you've already got it done so this is for others searching the topic). I did 20% (specs out at 12%....ticket to prove it) and it matches the soft top well in most light but looks lighter in others.
Same spot, different angles- you can see how it looks darker and lighter.

Your factory rear glass is in the area of 22%. Your back will be darker than your front as you stated but it will by no means look stupid if that's what you are worried about. It will tend to blend unless you are looking directly from the side as it is setting. I don't have an example for this. But I have 35% on my windshield. I run a tint shop so if you have any questions ask

Question for ya....what should the windshield run? I got my front two done for ~$75 or so and 2 windows and a hatch (80's corvette) for $180 from a different shop. I'm quite pleased with the first shop that did the jeep and I understand that prices vary with the tint film and other factors, but if you had to ballpark it. I've got a "medical cert" to have the tint.

Wow that's expensive, paid 35$ for 5% strip on front windshield 9" down. 55$ for 5% on the two fronts and bought the factory tint replacement panels on the soft top. So the tint cost me 90$....

Shop I work at , we charge 260 for front windshield, jku tint from 145-355, I don't usually budge on prices at all, still sells anyways, otherwise they go to flea market and then come back to us to replace it lol. What brand of tint you use, if you don't mind me asking?
