Default Tiger Claw recovery hitch

Anyone have any experience with this? I'm thinking about purchasing it before I go to Rausch Creek.

i have seen the short version of this without the hook on top. It had the hook on the end but the cool part was that it was much shorter so you dont have that thing sticking way out so not to get hung up and stuff when wheeling

yes it will get hung up, I have one and took it off but just plan on drilling another set of holes so it goes in further

i don't like the hook on the top. I've seen those hooks go flying whe they fail. First place they are going is right through a windshield.. Just my 2cents.

I was thinking the same thing, that hook should be facing down. And if you have the shackle, why do you even want the hook?

as a deterent to someone rearending you!!! (if they are down) Trust me the hooks really F-up the hood of the G-6, when the jackass driver is not paying attention

The hook is a great tool, though a bumper mounted shackle works too.

Needless I take the 'FIST" off when wheeling.
The pintle hook I like, it would even out the rake.
