Default tie rod end..Allen wrench size?

Seems that the Allen wrench size in the tie rod ends are between a 6 & 8 metric size...I cannot find a 7 metric anywhere. What have you guys used to remove the tie rod end nut.

I know what you are talking about, the stud end having a hex/allen to hold while wrenching tight. I use a Matco tools set of allen sockets. I'd have to check what size but it is metric.

Do you have pics to post what you are referring to?
If you were to take a top down pic of the tie rod end stud, there is a spot for an Allen wrench in the end of the stud to keep it from spinning in the rod end as you turn the nut.

It is 7mm. I had to use an allen to keep the end from spinning while tightening it but not when removing it.
