Throttle body spacers
Anyone have personal experience with these on a 3.6? I was looking at the:
EVE300-637
AIRAID Part 300-637 - PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer - - 4 Wheel Parts
For that matter, I am interested in any throttle body spacer that actually has in affect in a positive manor on this engine.
Thank you in advance.

You'll probably get some different opinions on this but I personally don't think you'll see any improvement anywhere from a throttle body spacer. I'd spend the money somewhere else.

Just my thought, but if a part that can sell for $150 at a profit can increase power and FUEL EFFICIENCY don't you think Chrysler, who needs all the help with their fleet average numbers, would have put it on, got the benefit, and raised the price of the vehicle to cover the cost plus profit?

New 2014 Wrangler with 3.6
I would like to also get xtra h.p. ! I have a 2010 dodge caravan that I bought new that was a dog . I pulled the M.A.P. & drilled the vacuum hole to 1/8 inch & really woke up the 3.3 it was nite & day .
the 3.6 is already large so, there is no where to go.
Has anyone ever used a spacer an really got xtra h.p.
It's a short distance from the throttle to the M.A.P. so, I thought maybe with a spacer there would be a gain in vacuum getting more h.p.

With the technology of today, vehicle manufactures are more then capable of producing engines that can get 40-50mpg+ but chose not. Hmmm I wonder why...

Yeah... no...
If you want to see examples of gas powered vehicles getting 40+ mpgs then look at hybrids and recent Mazda 3s... its the physics of the vehicle that produce limitations on mpg... weight and aerodynamics are the big two factors. You think you can do that in vehicle that is anything like what we Jeep Wrangler fans want?
