Exactly. The chip...ehhh...it's a little big argumentative, improved spark curve, fuel table, blah blah blah, if you don't have the CAI, headers, good exhaust the chip isn't going to give you those 11rwhp ...which is still arguable. You might get about 15-20rhwp with headers, CAI and exhaust and maybe 3-5rwhp with a chip. I personally think they are BS and a waste of money. You'd do better to hit a good performance shop and have your Jeep dynotuned to it's full potential for about 400 bucks Vs. a chip.

 

Dude I would buy one just for the supercharger whistle ...seroiusly they aren't that expensive...someone could actually build one for free if they are handy in the shop. I just can't stand the add campains out there that claim mega horsepower for these gimmicks.

Now if you were considering the Tornado....well I would even reply the thread...lol.

 

hehe see supercharger, iam barely affording the gibson dual and its used. hehe if my bank account somehow doubles 50 times then i can think of that. hehe

 

man if I could afford it I'd definitley drop an LS7 in this Jeep, screw the HEMI crap, custom grind cam for low-end torque (rock-crawling), and talk about a hellacious exhaust note...it makes me miss my hotrod days.

 

Lucky you had those days. i dream about having a v8 in my jeep. Its music i swear i could listen to that 4 hours non stop. i love the v8 american muscle sound.

Hey man sorry, but ya know what I busted my ass for everything I've owned, never had anything handed to me on a silver platter and I'm a stickler for detail, so yeah I had one of the fastest N/A LT1's in Texas for a short time...key word "one" of the fastest, there are a handful of monsters out there to date.
