Yes for the 3.6 cammer engine. Duel overhead cams make HP at a higher RPM range than a pushrod motor so that is low end for it.

Jp mag just put out an article in the november edition about performance upgrade to the 3.8. Just about all the add on were aFe or designed to work with aFe from intake to tuner. I loved the part where they put the TB spacer on and actually lost power and mpg's. TB spacers are a old dead technology designed for performance 30 years ago. Save your money and buy an intake or exhaust.

Weren't they originally designed to sit under carburetors to help mix the air with the fuel? I don't see how they can claim to work on any fuel injected vehicle. Save your money

The may help a bit on a throttle body injection set-up, but I don't see any advantage if you have direct injection...

Not effective on port injection, either. (3.8L and 3.6L are port injection.)

Too many people expect horsepower numbers and big gains from this simple mod but the reality is it was designed for torque and better fuel use which in turn usually is not felt by the seat of the pants dyno. Yes they work but the question is, is that the kind of power you were looking for or not?
More torque at a given rpm = more horsepower at that rpm.

Please explain how a throttle body spacer promotes fuel atomization when the fuel isn't injected into the air until just before the intake valve.

They do nothing and there is no logical theory to back up their claims. Some say they reduce air intake temps, some have fins in them to create a vortex and improve fuel atomization, but in reality they are nothing more than a fancy oversized gasket that serves no purpose. And the whistle sound just sounds like a huge vacuum leak. I wouldn't install one even if it was free
