I have a 10A 2 door with a 3.5" BDS lift installed, when my mechanics installed the lift they forgot to remove the Daystar 1.5" spacer lift so I have 5" of lift. Wondering if it will make my Cooper STT 35s look to small if I did flats? Opinions and pictures of anyone who has something similar. Thanks guys and happy wheeling.

 

I had 4 inches of lift on my 2012 Sport and to me the 35 Mud Grapplers I had looked way too small. 35s with stock fenders looked better but I wanted flats. Which then made me want 37s. Which then...you get the picture. Bottom line, 5" is too much for 35s and flats.

 

Take out your spacers

 

^^^^agree, take them out. Shocked your Jeep drives well with that much lift. If you keep them in and get flats, you have room for 40s (in terms of height, anyway).

Nice Jeep, man. Ditch the spacers. Even then, with flat fenders, 35s will look a little small. At 3.5" of lift, you can fit 37s no problem with flat fenders. Without the spacers, it will look better, drive better, and won't grenade your driveshafts (or even the transfer case, which can happen with that much lift and no aftermarket axle to adjust the separation of pinion and castor).

 

Thanks, and i understand what your saying...37s are just going to cost to much money in other upgrads (re-gear, sleeve and gusset the axle etc) may just stick with what im running now, she works well and looks good just want to get flats eventually

 

Here's my jeep with the Bushwacker flat flares and 35" Duratracs(black wheels) and 4" of lift pulling a trailer ready to put my 37" MTR's on ... The next pic with my summer wheels have the 37's on.... My point I don't think the 35's looked that bad at all with the fenders.... So if you can get the Bushwackers at a good price and they've been on sale lately I'd say get them.

 

go with the flats and put the factory coils back in with the daystar pucks. No reason at all to run 3.5" lift with 35's
