For those thinking about using brake line brackets or extended braided lines.

You know. I never even thought of that. they are sticking out like a half an inch. Mine didn't come with directions. just the links. Good call. ok do that this weekend along with my extended brakelines and track bar install. just so I never need to worry about it again.

That sucks! I did the same thing with mine; driver's side line was pulled all the way down to axle bumpstop! It was almost torn off and was bent flat at the connection to the flex hose! I didn't find it for almost a week, when I was rotating the tires!
I was lucky that I didn't hurt my family...
Now, I've installed my new hardline (last year) and just installed my extended hoses. But I'm wondering if the routing is as good as it can be?
I'm going to start a new thread to see how everyone else's look...

Thought this deserved a bump as it just happened to me, luckily the line didnt break even though it was pretty mangled and I was able to make it home. Of course once at home I tried to bend it out of the way and it let go. I will be relocating the hard lines to the inside of the frame.

Just giving this a bump since it just happened to me on my 2012 JKU, I have the TF budget boost and the upper bolt on the swaybar link (passenger side) was rubbing against the hard brake line...luckily this happened just as I was pulling into my garage, brake fluid all over the place... Tomorrow I get to see what can be done to fix it... looks like I will need a new hardline and maybe some extended brake lines...
