I think that both the superlift and skyjacker suspensions are of good quality.
I run the new Skyjacker Long Arm system. While it is not the ultimate kit, compared to the RE kit, it does provide an excellent ride, incredible travel and performance in the rocks and I've had no problems at all. Any suspension with relocation brackets for the trac bars will net you problems at some point. Skyjacker recommends new trac bars or the use of their reiforcement bracket that extends from the top of the diff housing to the trac bar bracket. I went with the bracket and have had no troubles.
The amount of lift that I gained was an over all boost of about 5 inches. I run 37's and have no clearance issues and still maintain tons of up and down travel.
Two things to consider with the Skyjacker kit is that they have designed it to work with the stock drive shafts. In turn, you will not gain that much down travel, unless you add new drive shafts to the Jeep. If you get new shafts, you can then also change your shocks to allow more travel. Also, after driving my Jeep with the Skyjacker lift for about 10,000 miles, I started to get some pretty bad vibrations. The front boot on the CV joint also started to tear and spray fluid under the Jeep. They didn't last long with that much lift.(I have a 4 door rubicon)
Lastly....yes....Tom Wood is selling his JK shafts now. I just installed some and can tell you that they are the best quality shaft on the market.....period! I even got mine polished and clear coated for the ultimate look. I strongly recommend getting new shafts if you plan on 4 inches of lift and 37's!
