Way I know this is your site and all, and I am not trying to step on your toes, but the Superlift is a nice kit. If you compare apples to apples, the full traction economy kit to the Superlift 4", the FT kit doesn't compare. I know your jeep is on their website, but for the people who have to buy this stuff, $1600-$2000 for an awesome kit may not be worth it when you can do essentially the same thing with a little sacrifice for $1000 less. Let's also not forget that you could buy the Superlift and add just the front arms to adjust for caster and still spend almost $1000 less. To me, and I am sure many others, I could never justify the added cost.

LOL!! ummmm, woolf, exactly when did I mention FT even once? And, since when is comparing a 3" lift to a 4" lift an apples to apples comparison? Last but not least, if you actually took the time to read my post carefully, I do believe you would have seen that I did recommend that jacked up JK should get the Superlift kit and add on a few extra components to it to make it more complete. But, I'm sure you had no agenda when you choose to overlook those small insignificant details

so i think im leaning towards the superlift i imagine ill need a new drive shaft has tom woods started making them for the jk yet? i know he had real nice ones for the tj also im lookin to go all out if i swap the suspension so with a 4 inch lift since it runs 37's if im right im thinkin that with tube fenders could you possibly fit 39's? of course with new axles and gears and what not as well or do you think id need a body lift for that? i know that no one that i know of is running 39's on a jk yet and i always like to do things that nobody else has around me so 39s would be quite a jump from what i imagine others are running. Possibly even a 1 inch body with te super lift and tube fenders id imagine would clear 39s or 40s but i could be wrong. What does everyone think about that setup? i know its probably overkill but i think it would be pretty badass

Well, when you say you are willing to go all out, you had better start thinking about getting a lot more than just new drive lines if you really want to run 40's. Specifically, you're gonna need to consider getting some bigger axles as well (and I don't mean replacement shafts). Othewise, yeah, with the addition of tubefenders, you should be able to clear them just fine and I'm pretty sure you would be able to without the addition of a body lift. There are a couple of people out here in SoCal running that exact setup (one with Xenon Flares) now.

Well, that's what I would recommend anyway. I know that Currie should be releasing their Rock Jock 60 within the month. As for up front, I'm sure you could have one custom built to meet your needs

My apologies, I jumped to a conclusion. And to be honest I did't even read the second portion of your post. I was out of line, your post was very informative and I would have agreed had I read to the end. Sorry, I'm on the tail end of four 70 hour weeks. My reading and comprehension skills right now are that of about a 9 year olds.... Peace

Thanks way of life the only thing that sucks about that is i live in Delaware and i doubt there is anywhere c lose by that could fab mwe up a front one so it looks like ill be doing some internet searches do you think currie would custom build me one if i payed enough haha? i know the odds of that are slim to none maybe ill start with 37's until more stuff comes out for our jks dont think theres enough out to comfortably run 40's yet but im lovin the way fr designs black rubi looks but i think hes running the skyjacker lift with a 1 inch body and i wanted to stay away from them if i could i hear ft is comin out with a 6 inch any word on that yet? I just love the stance of his jeep. I wish i woulda went bigger from the gate woulda saved me money haha. Whatever i do i just wanna do it right so if that means having to save up more money and buy something more expensive. Dont wanna rig it and have problems down the road.

I installed the SkyJacker 4" on my unlimited. Based on some problems I read about the rear trackbar bracket, I decided to get the adjustable rear trackbar. My personal opinion is that if you are going above 3", get the adjustable trackbar no matter what kit you buy.

I should also point out that I've only been driving on my lift for a few days so I think it is way to early for me to form a qualified opinion. I really debated between the Superlift and SkyJacker lifts and I can't remember why I chose SkyJacker.

But from what I gather in your recent posts, you are looking to get some serious height, and I don't think the market is there yet. My opinion would be to wait it out and not spend money to get to 37's when you aren't going to be happy until you get to 40's. However, you could start modifying your lift in preperation for the 40's by fixing the drive line, axles, etc..

With all that said, I'm all for you trying out some stuff because someone has to go first! And my above comments sound way to rational - I think my wife typed this message...

Good luck and keep us posted on your ideas and progress.

well i just called my local offroad shop they said that the market isnt there for 40's yet but i think im just going to do a 1 inch more body lift and throw some 37s on it because i know that the axles arent there yet to even go close to 40's so its gonna be a 1 inch body adjustable track bars some jks quick discos tube fenders adjustable control arms front and rear and 5.13's and hopefully suuperchips will lisaten to us and make a friggin chip already! haha then that way when the market gets bigger ill really only need axles and a new lift. Im waiting on either the teraflex 6 inch and ive heard rumors of possibly a ft 6 inch and maybe re will come out with a bigger long arm the 4.5 like they had the 5.5 on the tjs. If not it may be re since i know they are a good kit i think i was jumping the gun anyway you have to take baby steps with a jump this big or it will just end up costing more in the long run if you dont do it right you only get what you pay for. but thank you to everyone for their input. Ill definitely keep you posted on my build and get some pics when i figure out how to do it haha
