Questions for all you guys that have a RIPP supercharger......with all the negativity around here regarding high-flow air filters, especially those that use oil in the filtration media, do you ever have any issues with the filter RIPP uses for their system? Like issues with water. Or issues with over-oiling or under-oiling, which can lead to excessive dirt/dust/oil intake.

High-flow air filters around this site and others related to Jeeps are talked about like they're the plague, but I never hear of them being brought up when people start talking about RIPP superchargers.

I don't see where RIPP offers a paper filter or even a dry media filter with their system. Maybe they do and I'm missing it.

Comments?

Thanks for your response. I actually thought there woulda been more people running this blower that woulda chimed in by now.

Did you ever put any kind of rain sock or pre-filter over your filter?

Had mine on for over 6,000 miles never had any issues at all, took it wheeling and never had trouble with water etc. you can get a dust sock if you feel that it's needed but I never had problems. Great system, great filter

So you can run their air box with their supercharger? Do you have any pictures you can share, please?

I run an AEV snorkel and moved the filter to the top of the snorkel under the "coffee can". Using the "OIL" covered K&N.

No issues here.
