Default "Thinner" 33 - 35" Tires?

Anyone running a thinner, but taller all-terrain tire? Something in 33-35" territory? I currently have 285/70/17's and would like to go a *little* taller, but not any wider...would prefer a little thinner actually.

A 285/75/17 would be just shy of 34 inches tall and 11.2-11.9" wide. That's as tall and this as Ive been able to find.

Super Swamper makes some tires in a 34 x 10.50 but I certainly wouldn't call them an A/T.

I have been chasing such a beast of Tires for months now.

What I gather is 285x75 R17 is 34x11.2 R17 and you cant go wider than that otherwise you need spacers or other wheels with different off set.

The SuperSwampers 34x10.5 R17 and 35x10.5 R17 LTB's are your only choice, but they are more trail duty oriented.

I really want some 34 or 35in All Terrains in 10.5~11 wide for my Stock 17's. This is like finding a Unicorn.

Closest I have come is the These 35x11.8 R17:

Check out Post #15. You can see how much thinner these Guard Dog tires are vs. 12.5in wide 35in tires.

I run the Nitto Terra Grapplers in a 285/75 R17. They are about a 34" tire. They wear ok. I'm surprised how they are off road as well.

NITTO home page specs says those are LT285/75R17 E121Q and for being a 35in tire, they are listed as 33.86in tall. Fortunately; they are perfect width at 11.3in wide.

Personally, If I purchase 35in Tires I want at least a 34.3in~~~

I will take anything in true 34in or 35in as long as the width is 10.5~11.4
