All great suggestions . I'm kind of leaning to 4.88 as I do some 80 mph traveling out west . It seems like that would work well as I don't tow anything .

just got a quote for my gears. 2868.00 This seems excessive.

wow! We got a group bye going on down here right now $1000 installed with master install. I guess I should jump on it

I think so too, for just the gear parts and install labor. Maybe it's not excessive if including carrier, locker installs, new diff covers, etc.
