I had mine done back in March and its the best thing I have ever done. I paid $4200 to have the inside and outside done, and that includes all the tear down and putting everything back together as well. As for the clean up its really not that hard, I just take some dish soap and a brush to it and it cleans right up.

Here is a link to my photobucket account, it has 500+ pictures of it.

NINJA EDIT - The color is actually Carbon Black Metallic, you can really see it in some pics and then in others without the sun it looks flat black.

Why this hasn't gotten popular with jeeps, I don't know. Check out Venture Shield, it's a thick clear bra made by 3M. I put it on all my cars and it's amazing. Will cost about half of line X and pin striping buffs out.

Thanks for the pics and links. It looks awesome. Maybe more than I would spend. Local body shop polished all the scratches out for 150. Maybe I'll just stay off the overgrown trails next time!

Default What about vinyl wrapping it

I would think that it would stop scratches an not rip . At least it would look bad ass for about $2000.

Heres some pictures I found on here (not a great thread) --> https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-s...0/#post2892921

I have been thinking about doing this to mine. Just waiting to get enough scratches to justify the cost!

Vinyl wrap is relatively thin and prone to tearing. Even little rocks will cause tears. It's best reserved for mall crawlers.
I just had my 2dr waxed, and all the scratches and pinstripes I've acquired in the last 8 months are gone.

I looked at vinyl before I did mine and it was going to be about $3500 to have it done. Not to mention the Line-X just looks bad ass.

I was thinking of getting the bottom half of my Jeep done...from the door handles down. I don't really want to do the whole thing though.

If the line-x is that much it probably isn't worth covering new paint. It does look awesome though. Thanks for posting pics.

These are pretty cheap and everyone I know that has them loves them.
