Default thinking about a SC

How many miles is to many for a supercharger? I have 71xxx ver well maintained miles (ok I did drive 4500 miles on one oil change but they were all HWY). My rig does not burn any oil and I have had zero problems. After watching the Truck U episode where they installed the Sprintex... got me thinking...

As long as you have maintained proper preventive maintenance intervals, these motors are pretty stout. It wouldn't hurt to do a compression test to check, see if there is a balance in compression. That is a good indicator on the condition of the motor.

If your engine is good then you should be OK. If the engine has issues then the S/C will end up pointing them out to you.

Had my sprintex on for a week so far and love the thing! The low end is awesome now!! As long as you don't over boost your motor will last as long as you have your jeep!
