Can anyone with a 10a verify that these shocks are what you have? I bought these from a guy and originally he said they were from a 2012 JKU, but when I picked them up, he said that actually they were from a 10a JKU.

Looks like regular Rubicon gas shocks to me. I didn't know there was a difference.

I don't think there's a difference. Either black shocks from sport/ saharah, or red shocks from rubicon. All the same for 2 door or 4 door

Looks like Rubi Shocks to me... not sure if the number designates the year. I'll look at mine tonight. The year shouldn't matter. What's most important is how much wear and tear did they endure?

That's actually great news if they're "regular" Rubicon shocks as they have almost zero miles on them and I got them super cheap. I was afraid if they were 10A that they may not work well with my Sport. I'll go ahead and install them this weekend.

I don't know for sure but I bet they are one in the same. I doubt Chrysler specked different shocks for the 10A vs the standard rubicon.

So I have socket sets, torque wrench, floor jack, jack stands, and a few hours tomorrow. Am I missing anything to swap out my shocks?

I didn't even need a jack to swap my shocks. Just turned the front tires to full lock and swapped them. Just some muscle to push them up into the lower mount. You could use the jack to compress the shock then let it extend into the mount. I did that for the rears to make it a little easier.
