I would be a little concerned with the 15" rim. It would probably better if you went for the 16" rims.

Steel rims vary widley in production meaning someone can have a 15" steelie rub, while another person will have them rub on the caliper.

for instance, I have 16" rims and they fit, but with a lot less clearance than I had originally thought between the rim and caliper, but they fit--and they fit just fine. Now the 15" rims...well im not too sure about--I know people have some success running them, buts its hit or miss.

the rest of the specs of those wheels are just fiine.

i think the only ones that fit are the ones with 3.75 backspacing. And tires to fit 15" rims are wayyy cheaper than the ones that fit 16" rims.

these are the exact wheels I have, and they fit with no issues whatsoever. although I think they did rub the calipers on some of the JK's out there its a hit and miss thing.

some of the people that had them rub just grinded their calipers slightly...

Default mine are procomp

procomp series 97's. 15x8 and 3 3/4" backspacing. the wheels don't rub at all with no lift. (tires do at full flex)

2 questions:

1) how much caliper grinding are we talking about. If it's just a little thats ok i understand the whole chalk test principle but could it be enough that i might damage the caliper?

2) the rims from summit are about $38 a peice how much are the pro comps? I don't have a whole lot of money to spend.

If I remember correctly, someone on here verified that the caliper grinding was only necessary on the '07 models. I believe that's correct.

The Pro Comps 97s dont come with center caps (At least at the time mine didnt)...There have been other members here that use the 16" factory steel rim center caps & painted them black..They fit well on the pro comps...
