Default Thermostat questions/heating

So my 2016 just has had a overheating issue for about 9 months and here is the replaced part list as follows . A new radiator due to a hole new water pump and thermostat continued to overheat.. Then I got the codes for the cam positioning sensors and replaced both of those ran great but still overheating, replaced thermostat again and suction was so great it collapsed both the upper and lower hoses. Replaced both hoses and removed thermostat from housing because it was nice and warm outside but now it's winter and I'm freezing the jewels off if you know what I mean. Any thoughts on next avenues to explore?

Sounds like you’ve done your work on replacing all the cooling parts. I’d take it into a shop and have them flush the system. You could have a blockage somewhere.

Would a higher temperature thermostat or a lower temperature thermostat do anything?

Nope. If you can verify that your thermostat is opening then that’s all you can do in that realm. Any different temp thermostat will still open at that temp but the over heating is happening at a degree higher than the thermostat.

So a system flush and throw a thermostat in and see what happens I guess .

Out of curiosity, what temp is it getting up to? Have you verified the fan is coming on? Do you have a winch or anything else blocking your grille?

No nothing blocking air and I don't have a separate gauge yet but my temp was pegged.

I see you mentioned replacing the radiator, but did you replace the radiator cap and have you checked the hose to the overflow tank for blockage? This line above stands out. Vacuum like that typically indicates a blockage and that coolant can't escape to the resi. Did replacing those hoses stop that, cuz I wouldn't think it would have unless they were just that much more firm they hold up a bit better.
