Is there a downside to a body lift?
I'm seriously considering the 1inch body lift from Daystar. I have never done a body lift before. Is there a downside to these kits or is it really as simple as it seems?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have the 1.25" body lift on my jku and it s the perfect compliment to my teraflex 2.5 coil lift.
Only thing different is a bigger gap between rear bumper and tub of jeep. I would say go for it. You will like it

aside from leaving a visible gap between your body and frame and raising your cog, you will have some shifting issues with a 6-speed. there are fixes for it but, none that are stellar.

I put one on to cool my floor some since I removed my carpet. And with my 08 I didn't have to do anything extra to my 6 speed with a 1" daystar body lift. I know some you have to use a trans spacer

Ive done body lifts before and i never really cared for them much . I think the spacers would be better and probably same price or cheaper cause i just bought 3/4 spacers to level my jk and they were only $34
