Hi all , my 2010 sahara is 9 months old and its time to go bigger

This is what i have in mind for now:
-315-70-r17 BFG A/Ts (34.4") on stock 17 wheels

-TF leveling kit

-1.5" wheel spacers

and later:

-Flat fender flares

-XHD front bumper+warn winch

But
1- its a 6-speed , do i NEED to regear right away ?
Its my DD but i dont do alot of highway driving

2- i already have 1.5" wheel spacers fitted on and TF leveling kit in the garage , will the 35"s fit on the stock fenders+bumper for a while ? (its a UK front bumper)

3- do i have to worry about the front axle ? 90% of my offroading is in sands , only 10% rocks
Thanks

It seems reasonable to me that it'll work. I am looking to do the same basic thing, and I ran 285/70/16 on mine with no lift. I've added a leveling kit now, and am looking to put some 35"s on. I'm wanting to hear what others are saying also, but from what I've read on the sire, it will work. (I just know my wife would shoot me if I got 35"s and then they didn't fit!)

I have the TF 2.5" w/ 34's and I nearly rub at full flex so 35's with the 1.5" will probably put you in danger of rubbing at or near full flex. You're bumper should be ok, but I can't say for sure. You will rub the plastic air dam underneath the front bumper if you have it. No you don't have to regear. you'll lose power, but it is not required. I have 4:10s and it works. someday I'll jump to 5:13s, but 4:10s for the past year have been just fine and I'm an Auto.

hope this helps.

I have 4dr coils (similar effect to a leveling kit), had 35's, and have 1.5" wheel spacers and it ran down the road just fine. It should work fine in the sand too since there isn't a lot of technical articulation required. The only thing holding me back from saying "absolutely yes" is the stock front bumper. I got the rr xhd before I borrowed the 35's.
Yes , i thought that as well ,also its a UK bumper , i think its closer to the wheel than yours

Not sure here, but I would check the lip that
's in the rear wheel well. I think you may cut a tire on those...don't know for sure, better check it. You can cut it or bend it out of the way.
Can someone confirm? Its something I'm worried about, alreafy regeared, just saving up to get a lift & tires.

He's referring to the pinch seam weld, I believe, and yes there is a good chance this will come in to play. do a search, most people cut it off or bend it with a BFH. Sand, paint and you're good.. easy mod..
