Default TF 2.5 Coil + OME Long Travel Shocks

Hey guys, just finished ordering my lift components:
TF 2.5 coil lift
Spidertrax 1.5" Wheel Spacers
TF front lower adj. control arms
JKS Front + Rear Adj. Track Bars
OME LT shocks

I am trying to build this rig up for reliability as it is my DD (Over an hour highway commute every day), but also for performance. Dave at Northridge told me he recommended using the OME LT shocks in place of their standard size as he believed they would be too small. Is anyone else running these shocks in combination with the TF 2.5? If so what are your opinions? Any other suggestions for my rig?

Thanks guys,
and thanks Dave for the great deal you gave.

I'm running the shocks but on the OME coils. The standard OME shocks are way short....their LT shocks really aren't as long as i was hoping. I'm also going with the Teraflex long arm kit for better handling/performance.

Thanks for the reply, looks like the long travels might be the way to go. Anyone else with experience?

PDF file from arbusa: http://www.arbusa.com/uploads/PDF/ac...WranglerJK.pdf

"Extended length shocks are for 4-6" suspension lifts only and are not intended for use with any Old Man Emu systems. Extended bump stops are required."

Are OME Extended length shocks the same as OME LT (long travel) shocks?
Maybe Dave at Northridge could chime in to explain the difference?

The LT shocks will not fit a 4-6" They are more like 3-4" lift shocks.

So just to clarify, they shouldn't be any problem with the TF 2.5 kit Dave?

No they wont be a problem but you will have to make sure your brake lines are long enough and keep an eye on your front driveshaft.

Yeah that driveshaft will be ripping sooner rather than later I'm betting lol.

if your shocks are marked 'LT' then you have long travel shocks. Sport vs Standard has to do with stifness.
