Doc_D, thanks. I'm not feeling well today and totally missed your previous posts where you had already answered the question. Have you noticed any ground clearance issues with the transfer case in going to the 2.5 inch coils?

I'm very happy with my 2.5" coil lift and 35s. The 2.5" TF kit is nearly $400 less than the 3" kit. If you install the 2.5" kit and after it settles in you are looking for a little more lift, you can add 1/2" spacers all around for about $120. When I add heavier bumpers, that's the route I will go.

Completely off topic, where in Kuwait are you? I'll be in Kuwait City next Sat for a couple of days transiting between Iraq and the states. I'll be downtown.

Another vote for the 2.5 here. I got like 3 inches out of it on my 4dr and with my flat flares my 35 toyos look good but it would look nasty with 37s. The 2.5in will be even better on a 2 dr.

PLEASE, DO NOT USE CAM BOLTS. At 3" of lift, which will probably net you more then 3" you should use adjustable control arms. Those will allow you a greater degree of adjustment. Do it right the first time. Use control arms not the cam bolts

The use of cam bolts require notching / removing that metal tab on the mount. Over time those cam bolts have known to come loose plus it may not completely get your castor dialed in; so your driveability may still be affected. If you upgrade to adj control arms it requires you weld a large washer to the tabs you knocked off to install the cam bolts. The best way would be to get the adj control arms. If your budget doesn't allow it, are you able to save up until you have enough funds b4 lifting the Jeep? Hence, the " doing it right the first time" if not you can always get these items below to get you by, but you end up spending more in the end especially with shipping to your area.

You can either get:

Control arm brackets from Rancho, AEV or Rough Country

OME has a different version of cam bolts which doesn't require notching that mount/tab

Brackets
