no companies make there own shocks, but thats beside the point.

I loved the ride of the 3" ultimate on my 2 door. The ride was very smooth and no viberations at all. Mywife drove it everyday. If something was off, I woud definetly here about it.

I like it so much, I just installed the a 3" long arm on my new 2 door JK.

Both TF and FT kits are bolt on kits. You cant go wrong with either.

I hear great things about the TF kit from the people who have it, and I love my FT 3" Ultimate. Love the way it rides on pavement (better than stock), and love the way it handles on the trail.

I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Awesome, thank you all for your input. I am going to do a little more research on the internet, but because I was comparing the TF kit with the FT Economy kit, and because everyone seems to be using the ultimate which is a little out of my price range, I think I'll end up with the TF kit.

Thanks again and happy new year =)

Another no money as an object build your own lift I have considerd would be:
OME HD springs good for 3"
Black diamond 3" lift bumpstops
OME LONG Travel shocks
JKS track bars and discos
Crown Brake lines
Teraflex control arms

I was thinking of the same idea with one twist. A full set of Teraflex adjustable short arms is around $1,070. But Teraflex also makes a long arm only kit for around $1,525. You could combine the best of a Teraflex long arm kit with OME springs and shocks and end up with one kick ass long arm lift.

Or alternately, you could go with the Teraflex long arm kit and just add OME long travel shocks.

The only problem is paying for it all.

if you want 3" kit, Run the Fulltraction 3" long arm.

Great handling, and a really soft responsive ride!

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn’t think Full Traction made a 3" long arm kit but when I checked their site they show a 3" long arm kit with a big "NEW" next to it. Good to know.

I can't find the price on the Full Traction 3" long arm anywhere. Where did you get it and what was the price?

Also, you say it is a "Great handling, and a really soft responsive ride!" Do you think OME long travel shocks would improve the ride further, or is there no need to bother with OME shocks?

I pieced mine together from my 3" ultimate kit I had on my previous kit. The 4" long arm is $3,000 from 4wd hardware.

I would venture to say, the 3" long arm will be cheaper since it does'nt require drop brackets on the track bars and some other small things. Call Dave at Northridge on the price of the 3" long arm.

I'm happy with the M-force shocks on the lift. I dont really see the need to buy different ones. But shocks are sold seperate. So its really your choice. I don't have experience with OME shocks either. From what I hear they are really nice.
