And yet another vote for the Tera Flax hinge. I installed mine over a year ago and it certainly takes the worry out of wheeling the Colorado Rockies!
Great product. I would put it on any Jeep that has larger than stock tires. OR, I'd install it on a Jeep that hits lots of trails with rocks. Sooner or later that tailgate is going to feel that weight stress back there w/o one...
