but thanks for that pic. I'll be going with TF.

I kind of laugh at the voting buttons...people are buying the SB because it costs $130..in my opinion, if you are going to spend $800, you may as well get the bumper/tire carrier...Regarding the voting buttons, would you rather have a sport or rubicon wrangler?

Go Teraflex. I used the Smittybilt and it does not take the load off of the tailgate. I have since modded the smittybilt and use it with the Teraflex.

Default SB worked for me

I went with Sb, has worked fine for me . For a 35 it should do fine im not sure about a 37. If your wheeling hard id go with a full tire carrier personally i like the evo. But for my purpose the Smitty worked fine I had it over a year with no problems. Probly boils down to budget. for the price i couldnt resist of course if i had a extra 1000 the evo tire carrier is awesome

I don't know much about the Smittybilt carrier but I'm very happy with my teraflex mount and ORO 3rd brake light.

I like the clean look of the TF... alot of metal with minimum footprint. Yeah, made in Taiwan... we paid to much for sure.

Don't know about the SB but I have a TF Hinged carrier and Adjustable tire mount. It holds my 35" tire snug to the carrier, rattle free.

Post Wow, I forgot about this thread...

Thanks for the replies. TF is the winner for me, I like the fact that it takes the weight off the tailgate.

Teraflex all the way. Comparing the two should not even be allowed. SB is crap cheap and built like a 4 year old made it.....Oh, wait. The teraflex unit is made strong and desgined properly. I am swapping out my bumper this spring and getting one with no tire carrier and using the TF unit as it is low profile, no extra mechanical to mess up etc. Just a great piece to add to your rig.
