I've had mine since it was first released (can't remember when I installed it). It doesn't have any corrosion or coating issues even with all of the mag chloride that CO slops all over the roads.

I see teraflex makes a 1.25" or I can get a 1.5" spidertrax. Which one keeps the tire in the best place when the gate is closed?

Again, I'm planning on keeping the stock rubicon wheel and running 315/70/17 duratracs. Do I go with....

- Teraflex tire carrier with stock mount and no spacer
- Teraflex tire carrier with stock mount and spacer (teraflex or spidertrax?)
- Teraflex tire carrier & Adjustable mount and no spacer
- Teraflex tire carrier & Adjustable mount and spacer (teraflex or spidertrax?)

Thanks for the help!
Got my tires yesterday. Would like to order my lift and the teraflex hinge today or tomorrow...any insight on this??

I have the AEV wheels, but I went TF Hinge and adjustable carrier, as well as the Daystar adjustable bumpstop and I'm very happy.

Before I pull the trigger on this carrier, I really wanted to know more on the rust issues. Is this more location specific or climate specific? Being in SoCal, and hardly rains would it be a non issue? Was the rust issues on the hinges maybe a bad powdercoat batch? Even washing the car could create this issue?

Mine is 2 years old and I live in snow country and zero rust. They are cast aluminum.
