Default $700

Try $450 free shipping (just the hinge).

I have a 35 on it, and love it.

I drink the kool-aid. My jeep, my $$. Didn't want a swing-out carrier, works great with my Ace Pro Series rear bumper w/o carrier.

edit: couldn't upload pic from my phone. I love the Ace bumper, but wasn't wild about the tire carrier. The TF hinge and Ace bumper are a good combo for me, but then I only mall-crawl.

Those tire carrier gates add a ton of weight and ruin your departure angle. Many of us do wheel and prefer the departure angle the TF carrier gives us. The tire is so close to the Jeep (basically flush) that you don't hit it when you drop off a shelf. Since it's not getting hit, I am pretty sure it will hold up over time much better than anything you repeatedly smack on the rocks.

No kool-aid necessary for me to feel good with my choice.

Exactly right, everyone's choice. It will be interesting to see how the TF holds up over time.

The departure angle of that ace system is better than mine with the TF hinge carrier. How do I know? I run the ace pro series now, sold the TF hinge system after the gate mount broke going down the road. My spare all but touches the tailgate on the ace carrier. Great design and I love it even though I have generally steered away from ace in the past. It's no coincidence that the TF carrier weight rating has been reduced twice since it's release. But for a 35" I think its a great way to run the bumper you want and still have a gate linked carrier.
