Thinking about getting this, my only concern is the the hole left open from the right bumpstop that was removed. Don't want water finding its way into that hole. Any one come across this?

I just finished install. The hole you mention is covered. I doubt anything will get in there.

I've left that hole exposed for years due to different tire sizes and not using both bump stops. No issues. But I'll inspect for signs of water in the door. My JK is garaged too.

It's a roll of one inch that I use on the sharp corners in entry/galley areas on cabinetry in business jets. In the past I purchased a roll of 3M for auto applications from an online store.

I've got this on mine. Installed about 1-1/2 months ago. Aggravating. Ill spray it down with WD40 and see if that helps. My tailgate also creaks and squeaks now that I changed to the TF hinges and carrier.
