Can't wait for mine to show up tomorrow. Got some POR 15 on the way too, to put on under the hinges, and then paint over the top.

It only looks like that from the picture. I can hardly get a hand back there to dry off the tailgate after a wash.

Mine comes in today! What kinda POR 15 are you using?

I was looking that stuff up and it looks pretty awesome but looks like I'd have to order it online. Is there anything I can scoop up at an auto shop that would work as well for rust prevention? I'm hoping to have this tire rack on today or tomorrow...

I wouldnt reccomend using the regular por15 for the small are thats unpainted, I'm not sure if you have ever used it but its super runny and might run down the gate. I used the rustoleum truck bed liner spray can. It lays good and dries quick.

For the people using the adjustable tire carrier does yours have any wiggle to it after putting the spare on? When i shut mine i get a little hum and shake from the spare. Everything is tight and installed correctly, I have it set for about 1/4 inch gap from the tire and hinge.

Hey sm_rubi Are you using TF's new hi lift mount on the TF hinge? I'm still waiting for my hi lift mount from TF, wondering if anyone else has received theirs yet
