Here is mine with the hinge and adjustable carrier. I am only running a 35 so I didn't need the new carrier but I liked being able to raise the tire up off of the bumper and pull it in closer to the gate. I think the 3rd brake light bracket looks good.
Mine is also rattle free.

Question for you guys who had/have damaged tailgates;
I had a 295/70 Trail Grappler on XD wheel which apparently messed up my tailgate as I'm begining to see the signs of the two welds popping through the gate, as well as a really really annoying squeak when going over bumps. I've removed the spare for now, and most of the squeak has gone away, but I still do get it from time to time and it wasnt there prior to the tailgate being messed up.
if I get this teraflex carrier, would this remove the remaining squeak at all? Will that just be something I have to live with as a painful memory of times past?

To all people that have this hinge and carrier, does it rattle at all?
I'm still using a stock carrier with stock hinges (because I only have stock tires), but soon i'll be going up to 35's and would like to know how bad the rattle is. My father has a Rugged ridge bumper and swing away tire carrier and that thing rattles so much I would rather just ditch the spare all together (we're both looking at the teraflex hinge and carrier alternative).
