I was thinking, maybe do away with the handle all together and install a solenoid activated door opener instead. You could possibly program the key fob to work as a Wireless door opener. Custom car builders have been doing this mod since the beginning of time.

I did this in an Audi once. That solenoid could break bones.. This is a cool idea, plus it's nice to be able to hide a weatherproof switch on the exterior of the vehicle and never have to worry about locking yourself out.

thanks. i think its pretty nice. it mounted up pretty easily. drill a few holes and everything lined up nicely. had it powdercoated for $70 in Downey. (pm me if you need a powdercoater if u get one, they do pretty great work and price is fair. charged me $80 for the front with trail stinger.) my only complaint is u cant get it without the rear light openings. those lights suck too. they don't really do anything and they are not large enough to put the rigid fog light brackets in. that would be nice if u could toss some duallys in there since u are forced to have light openings. jmho. i have the psc brawler up front so it matches up nicely too. u may be able to land a deal on one with the black friday deals. i know northridge4x4 is posting their sales tonight at midnight(thats who i bought it from)
