Teraflex Steering Stabilizer
#11
Installed mine today and noticed my stock unit was in the opposite direction than the picture above. When I tried to fit the new TeraFlex SS in place it would not fit all the way up into the frame side bracket because it was hitting the bracket right on top. So I installed it the opposite direction as the picture above and just like the original direction of my stock stabilizer.
Just wondering if it matters which direction even though it doesn't seem like I have a choice. Anyone else run into this ???

this came up on another thread too. seems about 50:50on what you got (not that I believe it matters except for possible unique clearance issues.)
I think it depends how many beers the lineman doing the install had the night before in relation to the amount of coffee in the morning.

No. It is not required. THe stock one should be fine. I only have a new one, becuase my old one developed a shiney spot, which accompanied a dent, and a leak.

Good to know...thanks for the feedback.

the cylinder to be mounted at the axle end would be much better, since if it somehow got twisted/bent on the trail it will not have any effect on the steering binds while turning.
I have notice that most of the 07's SS are mounted with rod at the axle end, and most of the 08 have the cylinder mounted on the axle end.
