Default Teraflex or Skyjacker

So I have been researching lifts today and I think I want the 2.5" lift. Now the question is do I go "New Coil Lift" or "bb"?

I have narrowed it down to two vendors and what they have available:

TeraFlex 2.5" Budget Boost with Shocks for 07-08 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK

This is a decent price at $400 and some change

but for another $75 I get a full coil suspension with nitro-shocks

Skyjacker 2.5" Standard Lift Kits
For 07-08 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door with Nitro-Shocks $475.

So what do you guys think? For a complete bb system I am pushing $400 anyway right? And I assume that I am going to get a better ride and better off-road ability with the "New Coil" lift.

Pros\Cons any experience with either of these. I got some good comments back earlier from so Teraflex bb users.

Skyjacker is a generic lift , aka one size fits all.

Teraflex is specifically designed for Jeep and they have AWESOME customer service.

I think Skyjacker at $475 is not the lift you're looking for. I'm not bashing Skyjacker, but I've had it for 5 months now and you really need and adjustable track bar for the rear (I'd suggest one for the front as well, but you'll get different opinions on that). I know there is now a reinforcement for the rear relocation bracket (not sure if that is included in your $475 quote since I think skyjacker contends it is not necessary for that size lift) but it just doesn't make sense to me to continue to put a poorly designed relocation bracket on and then a bandaid to fix it. I seriously think you'll end up putting an adjustable on and that will push you up over $600 at least (just received my adjustable today and it will go on this weekend). I know money is a concern, but if I had it to do all over again I'd save a little more and go for a little better coil lift. If that's not an option, go with your teraflex BB.

I had a couple of email discussions with Mark, President of Teraflex, and I was told that the 2.5" 4 coil lift will be out in late June. I was originally buying the 2.5" HD Front Coil lift from Teraflex but he suggested that i wait. IMO, there were some minor issues with the reverse rake on the two coil system.

I decided that I will follow his advice. Told him that if he made me first on the list i would do a write-up here.

Here is the new catalog entry for their new system.
