So I was out inspecting the JK this weekend because it finally warmed up in Colorado and noticed two things not looking so great. First, my driver side quick disconnect appears to be warn at the bushing. I've always kept these regularly greased, so not sure why it would bind up? Second, my shocks are leaking...Again. I say again, because they were replaced less than a year and a half after originally installed. These new ones are only 9 months old. I just don't know if I want to deal with this again. What does anyone recommend? Bilsteins? Fox? Other?

Im in the same boat as you man I was told bilstein are better on road and fox is better off-road....

OME HD shocks are excellent... really good on road and off... if you don't mind yellow...

I run bilsteins and love them but I've had leaky shocks before. They were replaced under warranty but bilsteins are not immune from the issue you are describing. A buddy of mine has the TF shocks going on 3 years now and never had an issue.

I wish I could say I wheel it really hard, but I don't. Mainly on-road stuff, so really disappointed this keeps happening. Don't want to spend cash on more shocks, but also don't want to keep swapping out shocks in the winter.. This will be my third pair in 2 years...

Another vote for the bilsteins I installed mine about a month ago and it's made the world of difference in my ride.

Fox 2.0 remote reservoir... I got suckered into the fox thing because well... They have the coolness factor and they're still great shocks. No regrets. I've wheeled pretty hard while still driving on the highway daily and they have done excellent in both scenarios
