I love mine. They are very sturdy. I have pivoted on them more than once and the only damage was scraped paint. Some rattle can semi glass and they looked new again.

I do have a real nice dent from underneath as I slipped off a rock and slammed down onto the passenger side. Hit hard enough to bow the door opening out just a smidge (really gotta look hard to see it), but left a nice battle scar. That is how I prove to my buddies that I actually do some black diamond trails.

Anyway, I love these things. Good steps but with a 4 inch lift and 33's kinda hard to actually use normally, and they stick out and saved my fender flares from being completely ripped off more than once.

So, no problems with gouging the aluminum ?? Im happy to hear that they can take abuse.

Anyone know if a body lift has any effects these???

Just installed them. They bolt directly to the tub, & do not touch the frame at all.
