With factory sized tires no spacers needed. They talk about spacers because they are running a MUCH wider and taller tire on that JEEP. (34/13.5/18)

From the TF website:

Details
This leveling kit adds 2" to the front and 1" to the rear effectively leveling the 2 or 4 door's factory rake stance. The kit comes with front sway bar links. You can run a 33-34" tall tire with this kit. If you prefer to run the factory wheels as shown on the red Unlimited, you may need wheel spacers for proper clearance. Fits 2007+ newer Wrangler and Unlimited models

I currently have this lift and it works well. Somehow the zerks keep coming off sway bar links which is VERY annoying.

You will be fine with stock tires and rims.

You WILL rub offroad with this kit if you disconnect with a 33" or 34" tire, even with properly spaced rims. You must increase bumpstops to keep from rubbing, trim your fenders or go aftermarket flat fenders.

I find teraflex's add misleading, they should revise their comments on fitment.

305/65R17 pictured below on my rig. Even with the rub, I like it. I'll trim one day.

Wheel spacers will also allow full turning radius. If you put on bigger meats you will more than likely rub at full lock. That part has nothing to do with disconnecting your swaybar ?

2.5" teraflex, TF 9550 shocks, 34" BFGs on 18" stock sahara wheels. 1.5" spidertrax wheel spacers - even with them installed the wheel is still within the fender = legal. No rub so far, have not gone wheeling since install though.
Its not a necessity either, but you add bigger wheels on it you will notice a decrease in power and you speedometer off a little bit (5mph). It doesn't bother me too much but I'll be getting 4.88s the beginning of next year. Unless you got a rubi, than it shouldn't be too bad.
