Teraflex, FT, or Currie

I can add more to this now as well. The Currie kit has been installed and I can say that I am very pleased with it, and would buy it again knowing what I know now. The kit rides great on road and off road as well as providing great flex. I don't have the adjustable track bars and due to the engineering of Currie's track bar relocation brackets which are very beefy, my axles line up very close to center. Here's a couple pics of mine with the lift and 35's.

how is the ride on the currie kit? the reason i am asking is because of the rod ends on both ends of the arms? seems like it would transmit noise/vibration into the frame. cti, your jeep looks GREAT!

I think that in theory that makes sense, but I can tell you that I have ridden in at least 4 Jeeps all lifted with different lift MFG's (Full Traction, Rancho, Rubicon Express, and obviously my Currie lift) and they all ride very similar. The Currie arms do not transmit any more road vibration into the passenger compartment than any of the other lifts. It does ride very well for a lifted vehicle. It is a little firmer than the stock ride which I really like as it improved the handling and got rid of the nose diving so much while braking.

I went with the 11" travel front shocks. Nothing has to be modified, but you do have to replace your front drive shaft to an after market one. With the 11" travel in front there is too much down travel in the suspension which causes the stock drive shaft to hit something, I forget exactly what. The smaller diameter of the after market shafts allows enough clearance for the 11" of travel without causing any problems.

Damn...I'm still waiting on the JK to arrive...but I'm hearing front drive shaft boot, and exhaust, as being next to each other?
Any one have a pic of that area...?
I'm considering (now...) if its easier/cheaper to make a bend in the exhaust, or to get thinner aftermarket shafts...and a thinner shaft sounds scary, and a rubber boot with grease in it next to a hot exhaust sounds like the grease would get more cooked than normal....
So - Pics?

This is the best pic that I have.
You can see the cross over pipe and the driveshaft boot. I would not be concerned with the smaller diameter driveshaft. It does not need to be that much smaller, just get one from a good quality supplier like Reel or Coast and you will have no problems.
