If you find a set that work mkjeep, make sure you post here. My ome lt's are good, but I'd prefer something smoother.

Hmm, price has come down on the Elkas, I may go that route. Anyway , I'm ordering new shocks this week, I'll let y'all know my final decision tomorrow or Friday. Feel free to add more input though.

My vote is for FOX

In Baja style off-road racing (Buggies and Trucks), you will see FOX and KING as the preferred shocks. I have never seen Elkas nor have I ever heard of them being used in applications larger than a quad.

Best of luck with your decision

I run the Elka's, I got them last summer before TeraFlex had worked out the setup with Fox. I actually love the Elka's on the highway, very little body roll. On the trail they do great as well. At least with my off road skills. I was talking to the guys from TeraFlex a month ago about the differences between the two. From the guys I spoke to there, the Elka's handle a bit better on the highway, and the Fox's do a bit better on the trail and a touch stiffer on the highway. Both are great just some minor differences in both extremes, highway vs. trail.

Fox shocks are now in stock. I know that I love my ELKA's on mine.

Well damn, thought it made it easier that the Fox's weren't in. Now, back in the same boat. Either way, its a good bit of coin to drop on shocks. Honestly, I've never had this hard of a descision on anything I've bought so far.

They do, but that was just to keep the costs down. (I asked that same question to TF) You can get the Prerunner kit with the Elka's if you want.

We decided on and just installed the Teraflex tuned Fox shocks for both of our JK's running 6" Elite LCG's. Our first long drive and wheeling trip will be this upcoming weekend.... cant wait to see how everything performs.
