teraflex coil lift - track bar bracket?
Someone on another forum said that the Teraflex guys said that a rear trackbar bracket or rear adjustable trackbar is all that is needed for their 2.5" coil lift. Does anyone know why the rear adjustable trackbar seems to be more important than one for the front? Also, in their kit they have new rear swaybar links but from what I've read on here it is the fronts that are too short (especially for a Rubicon). Been trying to decide what kind of lift to get for the last several weeks, keep flipping back and forth between spacers, coils, OME, Teraflex, etc.
thanks.
thanks.

while one would be nice to have up front, there are no rubbing issues to deal with so no drop bracket or adjustable track bar is needed. as far as front links go, yes, they are too short but the information you got came from an uninformed source. after you install the new rear links, you just need to take the factory rear links and install them up front - problem solved.

Even after searching and reading 100 threads about the sway bar links, I still have questions too.
I also have a 4 door Rubi (and don't want to opt for new wheels / tires, nor do I think that wheel spacers are a safe idea--just my opinion).
I've seen it mentioned that keeping the stock rear sway bar links in place with the 2.5" lift avoids rubbing, just reduces the flex you'll get.
What I haven't seen mentioned is adding another set of factory rear links to the front, while keeping the factory rear links in back.
It would seem you'd get the benefit of the longer links in the front so that you don't ruin your e-disco, while keeping the rear from rubbing with factory wheels.
Any thoughts?

I have installed tthe TF 2.5 coil lift kit. It works just fine. I tried it a while without the rear wheel spacers. I flexed just fine rith up to the last probably 1/2 inch then it rubbed the left tire. I don't remeber what rubbed, didn't sound to bad, but wouldn't want to keep doing that. I put on the spacers and everything is as it should be..
If you don't like the idea of spacers, then get offset rims.
