Teraflex Adjustable Tire Mount Install
Hey guys...I've already sent my issue to tech@teraflex.com but I'm being impatient and thought I would post as well in case someone else can help.
I think the bolts I received with the kit may be the wrong size. The bolts I'm referring to are the ones that secure the outer tube piece with the multi-holed plate (and studs) to the base plate.
Hoping someone might be able to confirm by the pics I've posted. Thanks for the help!!

Ones in the install video appeared to be much shorter. I've only snugged the nylock nut in the picture but I assumed that I would be tightening it down closer to the base. Seems like there will be a lot of play this way??

I just tightened down until it was good and tight. There's no play in it. I'm running 37" MTRs and it's been fine on and off road.

Too funny, I installed my tire mount today too. The long bolts are fine, they snug up nicely. The one thing I noticed is that the Teraflex video is a bit outdated, it still shows the old tire mounting bracket with 4 sets of mounting holes (vs. 3) and the old 3rd brake light mount. Here are a few shots of my install:

After struggling getting one stud in, I took the other two studs and the mount to an auto shop with a press. One of the guys working in the shop happened to be a jeeper and pressed them in at no cost, although I was prepared to part with good money to avoid doing the other two.
